Fuyuko's "starter". Roku was a Zorua when Fuyuko and his sister fell into the tunnel in the Bonechill Wastes and was the one to fetch his mother to take Fuyuko in. The two of them have grown up together and are extremely close, essentially brothers in attitude and feelings. Roku is extremely protective of him and distrustful of others, though he does behave for Fuyuko's sake. Woe be to anyone who hurts him, however.

Roku was the first of two Pokemon that Fuyuko had before he joined the Survey Corps.

Kenta was first found by Fuyuko near the Snowpoint Temple, having fallen off the balcony and been unable to find his way back, especially since the fall injured him. Sympathizing because of his own history, Fuyuko nursed Kenta back to health, which led to Kenta sticking tight to him and refusing to leave, even when Fuyuko tried to take him back. Desiring to protect Fuyuko the most, Kenta debated his evolution for a long time before deciding to forgo the Dawn Stone and evolve into Gardevoir. Like Roku, he's protective of Fuyuko, but far calmer and less vengeful.

He was the second and only other Pokemon that Fuyuko had before joining the Survey Corps.

One of Professor Laventon's original Pokemon, Tsubame was left behind when [piecharname] took Rowlet instead. During downtime, Fuyuko often played with her, feeling bad that she seemed restless and bored. Noticing how the two bonded over time, Laventon eventually gave her to Fuyuko, at which point he gave her the name "Tsubame". Easygoing and relaxed, she's mostly happy to sit back and let Roku or Kenta handle problems, but she's by no means weak. When it's her turn, her fighting spirit flares like her fires, and she devastates anything in her friend's way.

Alpha. Fuyuko first meet Masahiko in the Coronet Highlands while exploring the ruins and found him intriguing. While he wasn't equipped to fight him at first, having to run after the Luxray seriously hurt his team and lightly injured him, all of them refused to give up. After naming him, Fuyuko came by again and again, either watching or challenging Luxray, taking a few scuffs here and there. As they interacted more, the Luxray himself became interested, his attacks more testing than actually harmful. The last time they met in the wild, Masahiko could sense the strength they had and went all out against them. When Fuyuko won the battle, the Alpha Pokemon acknowledged him, being caught with no struggle and joining his side.

Despite how they met, Masahiko is unbreakingly loyal to Fuyuko, always behind him and supporting him. He acts as Fuyuko's Ride Pokemon on the ground, all too happy to carry his close friend anywhere that he needs to go.

While a Hisuian Decidueye, Hanae has evolved to a completely different form than usual through a quirk of evolution, trading the Fighting type of her usual kind for a Psychic type -- though she is no less physically powerful for it.

Hanae was caught by [piecharname] as a Rowlet, having been found in a time-space distortion in the Alabaster Icelands. Unlike other Pokemon, she was extremely aggressive and disobedient, and though she didn't actively injure others, she would scuff them to make it clear she wanted to be left alone. It was through Fuyuko talking to her that he and [piecharname] realized there was something wrong with her, some part of her having been warped by her travel, and they decided then to make sure to help her. While a lot of what they tried failed, eventually, they took her to Lake Verity where [piecharname] called on Mesprit to help. With Mesprit's help, Hanae was able to calm down, spending some time centering herself while her mind was repaired.

Once Hanae was healed, Mesprit allowed her to leave with [piecharname], though [they] decided that she should instead go with Fuyuko, as he could speak to her. Both agreed and she joined Fuyuko's team, later evolving into her Miko-styled Decidueye form, much to everyone's surprise. While it's unknown what made this change in her, Professor Laventon suspects it may have something to do with the exposure she had to Mesprit. (Art credit @Startboii1)
